"Dust"

DustThe story of June Hancock, who in 1993 was diagnosed with mesothelioma having been exposed to asbestos when growing up in Armley in 1930’s, is being told in a new production at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.   Performed by members of the local community, Dust will be running from 15th – 18th July.  For more information please use the link below.

On 11th July 2009, as part of the I Love West Leeds Festival there will be a special one night only performance of Dust located in an empty industrial unit close to the site of the original factory.  This is a partnership project between the I Love West Leeds Festival and West Yorkshire Playhouse working together to bring this important Armley story out into the community it affected.  Please use the link below for more details.
