John Battle MP welcomes saved Post Office

After the closure of the Armley Co-Op store was raised by local people at Armley Forum, John made representations to the Leeds Co-Op and to the Post Office regarding the future of Armley Post Office, which was based in the store. He has now received assurances from them that the Post Office will be moved to the refurbished Co-Op Pharmacy site by 20 January, with the minimum possible disruption.

“This is a very well-used Post Office and it is very good news for Armley that it is remaining open,” said Mr Battle.
