John Battle takes A Walking Bus

John joined Raynville Primary School's "walking bus" one Friday morning in January - the school asked him to come and see their new programme in action.

The walking bus is supervised by adults and follows a set time and route so children can join it on its journey to school and get there safely and on time.

John was impressed with what he saw, "it's a sociable start to the day, it cuts traffic on our roads, and it's safe," he said. "Congratulations to Raynville Primary for organising it."
