John Battle at a Ceremony at Hollybush Primary School in BramleyJohn Battle attended a ceremony at the construction of Hollybush Primary School, Bramley, where two children tightened the final bolt to complete another stage of the building.

John Battle said, “It’s a superb new modern design – and now that the steel frame has been locked into place by two youngsters with their spanners, already you get a sense of the space and light that the new school will provide. It’s going to be not only a top quality school for the youngsters but a great community asset for the neighbourhood for the next few generations.” Two of the school children tighten the final bolts

Head Teacher Pete Bell said, “We’re really looking forward to our new building opening – it really will offer our children and staff the best environment for learning and teaching.”
